Rice Preparation:

  • Take 1 kg Basmati Rice and rinse it with water
  • In a pan add enough water and required salt, 1 tsp of Ghee, Cinnamon 1 inch, 2 Star Anise, 2 Bay leaf, 5 Cardamom and 5 Clove.
  • Boil untill half cooked and strain excess water and set aside.

Gravy Preparation:

  • Take 100ml oil and 100ml ghee in a heavy bottom Vessel
  • Add 3 Chopped Onion , 2 tbsp of Ginger Garlic paste and 2 Chopped Tomato and stir well
  • Add 1 kg of Chicken / Mutton pieces, 3 tsp of The Spice Club Hyderabadi Biryani Masala 100ml of Curd, ½ Lemon Juice, required Salt and stir well for 2-3 Min in medium flame.
  • Add enough water to cover the Chicken / Mutton and cook for 15 – 20 min in medium flame

Layering & Dum Preparation:

  • Sprinkle the prepared rice on top of the gravy without stirring.
  • Garnish with Golden Fried Onion, Cashew-nut, Saffron and pour the sautéed oil on top of the rice
  • Close the vessel with extra weight on top of the lid.
  • Place the vessel on top of the tawa in low flame for 15 – 20 min.

Now the tasty The Spice Club Hyderabadi Biryani is ready to serve
